Bud Friedman, CCIM, Principal

Bud has been involved in the commercial real estate business since 1972. He started his own company in 1974, specializing in properties in Fort Bend and Harris Counties. That company has grown into what is now Fort Bend Real Estate Corporation, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage and investment firm completing transactions throughout Texas.
Bud earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Houston. He earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 1993 and served as President of the Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter in 2006. For his presidency, Bud was selected as the winner of the President’s Cup Award by the CCIM Institute, the governing body of one of the largest commercial real estate organizations in the world, for his innovative and outstanding leadership.
Bud served in the United States Marine Corps, receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1970.
Bud was a charter member of the Fort Bend Society of Commercial Realtors and served as its President for the first three years. Bud has served on the boards of numerous civic and professional organizations in Houston and Fort Bend County. He currently serves as Chairman of the Zoning Board of Adjustment for the City of Sugar Land.
